Certain moments in our life highlight the impact our past plays in our current reality. Emotional wounds from painful experiences shape us in ways we don’t always realize. Feeling out of control, lost, damaged, or broken are often evidence of how you survived those moments. I believe everyone has an innate wisdom guiding us towards cultivating a life we feel proud of. Who you were before the trauma, before the world told you who you should be, remains. That person is buried beneath beliefs, patterns, and strategies that may no longer work for where you want to go. In these instances, having the space to rediscover that person is essential.

My therapeutic approach creates an environment where your nervous and emotional systems can settle. Together, we will explore experiences that shaped you and identify stuck emotions. My hope is to help you access inherent resources, reclaim agency over your life, and reshape your narrative. Through this process, you will find a path home to yourself. For my work with couples, I am excited to utilize theories and techniques from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to improve communication, understand relational dynamics, and resolve conflicts, thereby enhancing relationship satisfaction and facilitating healing.

It was through a similar process that I was drawn to therapy. In repairing my own relationship to myself, others, and the world around me, I became wildly spirited in working towards offering to others what was compassionately offered to me. I graduated from University of the West with a Masters of Art in Psychology and have worked in in mental health field in a variety of settings over the years. My experience working with anxiety, depression, and trauma allows me to personalize therapy to you. Utilizing art therapy, mindfulness, inner child work, and trauma interventions, I am here to support you to foster insight into your past and present, and develop empathy for yourself. We will walk, side by side, as you create a life that feels beautiful. To inquire about setting up an appointment with me click here or call our office at 562-566-4257.
