Hi there!  I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology degree with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. I also achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Child & Adolescent Studies from California State University, Fullerton. I have over five years of experience working in the mental health field supporting individuals, children/adolescents, couples and families in navigating a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, relational challenges, and life transitions.

My decision to become a Marriage and Family Therapist is rooted in a personal commitment to embody this principle– “Be the person you needed when you were younger.” Through my own personal journey, I realized my passion for this work and how my own life experiences shaped my dedication to support others with compassion, authenticity, and a strong belief in the healing power of human connection.

As a therapist, I strive to create a non-judgmental, safe, and supportive space where each client can feel seen, heard, and valued. I honor each individual’s unique story and needs through an integrative, client-centered approach that draws on psychodynamic and humanistic traditions, an attachment-based framework, and evidence-based modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS)  to support deep, lasting change. For my work with couples, I am excited to utilize theories from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to improve communication, understand relational dynamics, and resolve conflicts, thereby enhancing relationship satisfaction and facilitating healing.

My goal is to help clients understand how their past experiences might be impacting their relationships today, and to support them in building lasting personal growth, emotional resilience, self-compassion, and a deeper connection with themselves and others. Seeking support is a courageous act, and you don’t have to do it alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you in your own personal journey. To inquire about setting up an appointment with me you can click here or call our office at 562-566-4257.
