Hello Everyone! I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and have worked in the mental health field for over 4 years. I received my masters in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University. I became interested in psychology at a very young age, and high school was thankfully a place for me to expand my knowledge on the subject. However, over the years it actually was my own personal experiences with my family and others that sparked my interest and passion for psychology even further. I became intrigued with people's emotions, the way they thought and behaved, and I was always interested in helping others. I knew whatever career path I took, I wanted to make sure I was both helping individuals and making a positive impact in the communities I work in.  I have had immense joy working with all types of individuals, children and families. The experience I have gained over the years has not only helped me grow as a person and clinician, but has helped me learn different ways to help each unique individual.

I have had the privilege to learn and be trained in multiple therapeutic techniques. I believe learning different therapeutic modalities and being trained in multiple evidence based practices has helped me develop an eclectic style in how I practice therapy. My approach to psychotherapy stems from both psychodynamic and person centered models, however,  from I client-centered perspective I love to use different strategies from other modalities that best suit my client's needs. Throughout my years working in the mental health field I have acquired experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, loss, relationship issues, work stress, and self esteems issues. I also enjoy helping couples overcome conflicts and grow closer together with emotion focused therapy, the Gottman method, and other modalities that help to build intimacy and connection.

My goal has always been to help others find their voice, and use my voice to help those who feel silenced. I do my best to show up as my authentic self in therapy sessions using actively listening, empathy, educating, and helping others develop the skills necessary to live their best lives. Being grounded in this approach has helped my clients overcome issues that have been impeding them and has empowered them to accomplish their goals and strive toward higher aspirations. Providing a safe and non-judgemental space for my clients to share their story and work on their goals is my biggest priority.
